Benchmarking activities have been carried out by the Study Program of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta on Tuesday, July 5 2022 at 13:00 WIB. This event was opened with remarks from the Head of the Psychology Faculty of UMM, Mrs. Sofa Amalia, S.Psi, M.Si which was held offline in the Hall 4th floor of GKB IV UMM, attended by 16 participants from UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The implementation of this benchmarking aims to be the first step in forming a cooperation plan (MoU) related to academics between UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and UMM. This discussion covers the study planning carried out by both parties. It was started by UMM by explaining the study plan where the requirements for thesis submission had to take 128 credits. Followed by a discussion of general and basic courses to intervention. The MBKM activities that have been carried out by UMM are Kampus Mengajar, International Credit Transfer (ICT), Indonesian Student Micro Conference (KMMI), Certified Independent Study Internship (MSIB) to IISMA. The challenges felt by UMM were that the ongoing curriculum was not able to accommodate optimally the implementation of MBKM (Conversion of 20 credits), the student's competence related to psychological content was reduced; untimely completion of studies, etc. From the UIN side, it was explained that they have a student exchange program within the university. Sharing session takes place actively and between the two parties exchanging information about the academic process starting from daily lectures, the practicum system applied in the laboratory, to the journal management system and publications, and at the end of the branchmarking session there is the delivery of souvenirs from UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta to Fapsi UMM, and vice versa Fapsi also gave souvenirs to the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and there was a signing of the minutes of events carried out by both parties. As previously mentioned, the existence of this benchmarking activity can be a stepping stone to open the door for collaboration, especially in the academic sphere of both parties, between Fapsi UMM and Psychology Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
