Faculty of Psychology, UMM, again held a Workshop "Training for Children with Learning Disabilities & Behavior Modification" which discussed treatments that can be done for autistic children. Autism is a neurological developmental disorder that affects a person's communication, behavior and social interactions. For children with autism, specialized training is essential to help them develop the skills necessary to function independently in everyday life. Autism training is not a quick or easy process, but with proper care and consistency, many children with autism can make significant progress in their development. It is important for parents and caregivers to work closely with health professionals and educators trained in autism to design training programs that suit the child's individual needs. With a holistic approach and the right support, children with autism can reach their full potential and improve their quality of life.
